The Reef Knot Restaurant, The Idle Rocks Hotel, St Mawes

The Reef Knot Restaurant, led by Head Chef, Carla Jones and supported by Executive Chef, Arty Williams, serves the best of Cornish sea-to-table cuisine. Sustainably caught fish, from our own dedicated St Mawes fisherman, will be landed daily at the quay at St Mawes, and served alongside the finest local seasonal produce.

Our menus are a true celebration of Cornwall and offers an unforgettable culinary journey, with strong emphasis on seasonal flavours, keeping true to our sustainability ethos.

Advance booking is recommended.

Our Kitchen, Restaurant and Bar team are energetic, passionate and driven to deliver this experience to all our guests. We pride ourselves on our innovative training and work closely with our suppliers to ensure our team are knowledgeable and inspired.

The Restaurant is open seven days a week, with dining on the terrace when the sun shines, which it usually does. A relaxed but lively atmosphere, with music playing, guests chattering, cocktails being created and a great wine list to mull over and enjoy. Non-resident guests are always welcome.

LUNCH: 12pm – 2.30pm.

DINNER: 6pm – 9pm.

NON-RESIDENT BREAKFAST: 8.30am – 10.00am (advance booking required).
