The Plume of Feathers
The Plume of Feathers is a 16th century coaching Inn set in the leafy village of Mitchell, near Newquay and Truro, just off the A30.
Discover The Plume of Feathers; a family-owned 16th century dining pub with rooms, where rural charm meets modern chic.
Set in the leafy village of Mitchell, just minutes from the bustling hearts of Newquay and Truro (and with easy access to the A30), dine on British pub classics with an imaginative twist in the heart of Cornwall.
Head chef Andrew Dudley and his team make the most of seasonal ingredients from local suppliers where possible, bringing the taste of our surrounding land and sea straight to your plate. Expect menu changes throughout the year that echo the choice on our doorstep, with options for everyone.
For the ultimate food experience, complement your food with a wide selection of fine wines, Cornish ales and our tasty non-alcoholic options (or why not treat yourself to one of our expertly-made cocktails?).
Unwind and catch up with friends in a contemporary conservatory setting, or warm up after a long coast walk in the main pub, soaking up the atmosphere under original oak-beamed ceilings, with a large wood-burning stove at the heart of it all. In summer, enjoy the sun-drenched beer garden, complete with tropical palm trees and wild, bee-friendly flowers (just one part of our green action plan). Here, it’s all about quality food, cooked with passion, as sustainably as possible.
From electric car charging points to biodegradable straws in the bar, immerse yourself in The Plume’s sustainability journey for a Cornish dining experience like no other.
