Cribbs restaurant opened in 2007 when John Duncan, originally from St Vincent, decided to bring a taste of the Caribbean to Cornwall. The restaurant is located in the bustling streets of Falmouth and offers a friendly and relaxing dining experience and traditional dishes from the West Indies alongside British classics (with a Caribbean twist).

Customers are invited to experience authentic Caribbean cuisine prepared by experienced chefs who, where possible, use traditional ingredients and locally sourced products to create distinctive flavors.

The varied lunch and dinner menus are packed with authentic favorites including Caribbean golden mussels, Jamaican jerk chicken, pineapple & coconut janga, BBQ ribs ‘n’ rum, Caribbean lamb curry and vegetarian options.

The informal restaurant atmosphere compliments the vibrant decor and is the perfect place during the day, to sit with friends and enjoy a hot drink and slice of home-made cake or a bite to eat. With a range of cold and hot drinks available including their own coffee blend, this is a great place to relax, take time out and listen to the Reggae. The varied lunch menu is available daily, all year round, between 12 – 3pm and is packed with flavoursome sandwiches, salads, burgers and traditional dishes. Or, if you fancy something lighter, choose from the extremely tasty selection on the specials board.

An evening meal at Cribbs is full of soul and it’s recommended that a thirst quenching cocktail or rum be tried with your chosen dish. With a wide range of refreshments available from Jamaican Ting, Carib larger and tropical cocktails to their comprehensive wine list, which has been handpicked to compliment the menu. Cribbs is also proud to stock a wide range of rums from around the world – and the staff are always on hand to help with recommendations.

On the evening menu, Cornish ingredients have been combined perfectly with Caribbean dishes to create a sensational fusion of flavors and a side of rice & peas or plantain will finish off the dish perfectly. A new Vegan and Veggie menu is also available and includes delights such as Trinidadian doubles with callaloo and chickpea curry and grilled jerk halloumi with spinach and sweet potato mash.
