Newquay Zoo

Get Closer at Cornwall’s Biggest Zoo!

Visit Newquay Zoo to discover 100s of animal favourites, including lemurs, otters, penguins, red pandas, armadillos, meerkats, plus a variety of different bird and reptile species.

As well as a large variety of unusual species of animals and plants, the zoo has a village farm with more familiar faces, plus the Tropical House - an amazing and atmospheric exhibit where you can see sloths, poison dart frogs and loads of beautiful birds from around the world.

To fuel your adventure, grab some lunch from Café Lemur or some snacks from the Lazy Lion Grill and Meerkat Munchies ice cream parlour. Kids can run wild in our outdoor play area and Tarzan Trail. Complete with climbing frames, swings and slides, it’ll keep children occupied whilst giving adults a little time to relax. Situated next to the main entrance, the gift shop is stocked full of unique gifts, cuddly toys and branded souvenirs as a memento of your visit.

As one of Cornwall’s biggest charities Newquay Zoo receive no additional government funding and rely on the support of visitors in order to fund conservation projects – both at home and abroad. Past successes with breeding programmes have seen Newquay Zoo welcome squirrel monkey babies, ring-tailed and crowned lemur babies, lynx kittens and warty piglets. Who knows what babies will arrive this year?

As part of the Wild Planet Trust Charity, if you are a UK taxpayer and you make a donation that is 10% more than the admission, the government will give us 25p for every £1 of your entrance fee. It's called a Gift Aid Visit and it makes a massive difference to us and to our vital conservation work.

  • Child (3-15 years) £12.30
  • Child under 3 years: Free
