This includes every age group and physical ability and of course, the family dog!
The Camel Trail is a disused railway track which has gradually been renovated over the years to provide some of the most well known and scenic miles of cycle trail in Europe.
In 1986 when the first bike hire was created in the South West right on the start of the Camel Trail in Wadebridge, by Bridge Bike Hire, some of the railway was still down and it was quite a precarious trek from Wadebridge over the rapidly declining railway bridge and into Padstow. Luckily, health and safety wasn't the concern it is today!
The trail is now compacted into a well cycled, walked, run and horse ridden path. As well as the best known and stunning 5 miles to Padstow there is also a further 5 miles through wetlands and woodlands up to Bodmin and a further 7 miles to Wenfordbridge on the edge of Bodmin Moor.
All parts of the Camel Trail offer unique beauty and are a delight to explore.
