Paws on the Beach at Watergate Bay

Paws on the beach is back – raising funds for RSPCA Cornwall and packed with feel-good activities to get tails wagging. Dogs are welcome on the beach at Watergate Bay all year round – and on Sunday 4 May, from 11am to 3pm, they’re getting their own unique day out. Free to attend and a must for any dog owner, it’s an event not to be missed.

Supported by RSPCA Cornwall Branch and Watergate Bay Hotel, the event will be packed with canine-friendly activities. Expect a dog show with dog-friendly ice cream prizes and rosettes for all 1st place winners, ‘have-a-go’ agility sessions, behaviour and training advice, and guidance from a clinical canine massage therapist.

If that’s not enough to keep the younger members of the family happy, there’ll also be children’s agility, creative arts and crafts, face painting, and classic raffle and tombola stalls, with all donations going to RSPCA Cornwall.

Food and drink will be available on the beach, and The Beach Hut will be open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner – welcoming dogs and their humans for good food, drinks, cocktails and plenty of water bowls.

Paws on the Beach is supported by Land Rover Discovery, and marks the start of the Watergate Bay beach events calendar and year-long partnership with Land Rover Discovery.
