Teddy Bear Train
This February half term, bring your little ones and their favourite teddies for a magical day out on Bodmin Railway’s Teddy Bear Train! Hop aboard our heritage steam train for a scenic journey through the Cornish countryside, all while enjoying a bear-themed adventure.
Your little adventurers will have the chance to meet our friendly station mascot, Stevie Bear, who will be there to greet everyone and add a touch of fun to the day. Enjoy bear-themed activities around the station or on the train, keeping everyone entertained as you travel along!
Our station cafe will be serving delicious hot and cold treats. Treat yourselves to yummy hot chocolates or enjoy a comforting cup of our lovely Cornish Rail Company Coffee as you relax and unwind. Whether you’re indulging in a snack at the station or bringing it onboard, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Save your seat for this delightful event today! The Teddy Bear Train will be running on selected dates during February half term – Sunday 16th, Tuesday 18th – Thursday 20th February and children travel HALF PRICE with this bear! It’s the perfect way to enjoy a day out with your little one and their favourite bear —don’t miss out!

The Ultimate Railway Experience allows you to explore Cornwall’s Premier Heritage Railway, Bodmin Railway, for the whole day and be guided around our 1950’s station, Signal Box, Workshops and Running Shed. Including a delicious cream tea lunch and a 13 mile round-trip on the branch lines.
Experience a thrilling footplate ride for 6 miles, up and down a branch of the railway, aboard a steam engine! Observe how the fireman and driver operate the loco, as you step back in time and relish in the era of steam.
