Rock Beach
Rock beach is a vast stretch of golden sands and turquoise sea on the shore of the Camel Estuary, opposite the popular town of Padstow on Cornwall’s north coast.
A breath-taking shoreline, the long sandy beach that fronts the village of Rock is a favourite spot for swimmers and sun-seekers, whilst offshore the Camel Estuary lures sailors, wind surfers and kite surfers to enjoy the strong sea breeze.
From Rock beach there are far-reaching along the wide estuary; within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Rock and the surrounding coast is a wildlife-watchers haven, whilst walkers delight in the coastal routes across the sand to Daymer Bay and Polzeath. A small ferry from Rock makes the short trip over to Padstow, for those looking to wander around one of Cornwall’s most iconic finishing harbours.
This sandy beach, with stunning views of the Camel Estuary, is perfect for families and their four-legged friends. With St Michael's Church and Porthilly Beach Holiday Park, it offers a great base for your stay, where you can explore the scenic coastal paths and surrounding dunes.
