Nansidwell Beach (also known as Woodlands)
A quiet secluded cove to the west of historic Falmouth, Nansidwell Beach, also known as ‘Woodlands,’ is a small, sand and shingle bay concealed by a beautiful woodland.
Situated between Maenporth and Mawnan Smith, this privately owned beach is a welcome slice of calm away from busier bays. Follow the footpath through a lovely woodland area, partly cared for by the National Trust and down to the bay for snorkelling, diving, swimming, or just relaxing on the golden sands.
It’s a dog-friendly beach, but please be aware of other people on the beach and take any waste away with you.
