Helford Passage Beach
The Helford is one of the most picturesque estuaries in Cornwall and this shingle and sand beach is situated in an unspoilt sheltered bay beside the popular 300-year-old Ferry Boat Inn.
The small beach is accessible at low tide and is located on the north side of the estuary where the passenger ferry crosses the river to the small village of Helford on the south side. A popular launching place for motor boats and small yachts, hire a boat from the village or set out on the South West Coast Path that passes nearby on a wonderful walk eastwards along the estuary towards the sub-tropical gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah.
