Encounter iconic art works by celebrated figures including Barbara Hepworth, Peter Lanyon, Sandra Blow and Patrick Heron. The displays reveal the relationships between artists associated with St Ives and wider events in art history, also featuring work from the Tate Collection by Henri Matisse, Mark Rothko, Pablo Picasso, Bridget Riley, Pauline Boty and Lubaina Hamid.

Our café has spectacular views over the old town of St Ives and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a must visit for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or a glass of wine. Our menus change seasonally, ingredients are sourced locally where possible and all dishes are made fresh from scratch on the premises by our talented chef. Our shop offers a unique range of gifts inspired by local landscapes and artists, and a fantastic range of art books.
Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden
Just a 10-minute walk from the gallery through St Ives you can discover the magical home and unique garden of one of the greatest sculptors of the twentieth century. Over 30 sculptures in bronze, stone and wood, are on display in the magical garden and museum. Please note it is closed for essential maintenance 30 October - 26 Dec 2023.
