Jo Downs handmade glass can be seen at her three galleries and her studio all based in Cornwall. You will surely be inspired by Joʼs beautiful art and giftware ranges.

One of the world’s most prominent fused glass artists, Jo Downs’ handcrafted work is inspired by the beautiful Cornish coast.

Her range of gorgeous glassware includes jewellery, coasters, bowls, hangings and inspirational gifts, alongside her much sought-after statement interior pieces.

Jo has also developed her studio to undertake larger architectural and interior projects. Her innovative designs have earned her hundreds of private commissions for decorative windows, mirrors, wall panels and other artworks for homes around the world and you are welcome to discuss your own home project ideas with our friendly gallery staff.

Jo Downs galleries can be found at St Ives, Padstow, Fowey and at her Launceston studio, where you can also see Jo and her team at work. Situated a few hundred yards off the A30 at Pennygillam, it is an easy stop off on your way into or out of Cornwall, especially if you’d like to discuss your own commission ideas, see inspiring samples or pick up that larger, special piece for your home.

The Launceston studio and gallery are open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, and the gallery only on Saturdays 10am - 5pm. All other galleries are open Monday to Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 11am - 4pm. Please phone for extended summer opening.
