Visiting the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden is a unique experience, discover more about this leading figure of modern British art. In 1949 Barbara Hepworth created a studio and sculpture garden in St Ives where she lived and worked for the rest of her life. Comprising over 30 works in wood, stone, plaster and bronze, the museum and garden gives a remarkable insight into one of Britain’s most important 20th century artists.
