Situated in stunning rural surrounds between the exotic realms of the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the sheltered south Cornish coast, Lower Barns offers an achingly beautiful bolthole in which to relish an intimate or elopement wedding of the most memorable kind.

Presenting a spectacular series of facilities and features, the award winning boutique guest house will treat you and your guests to super stylish interiors and surrounds.

Eight uniquely designed suites redefine the words snug and welcoming. There are three suites within in the main house and four scattered across the gardens, three of which have their own private gardens and one with wheelchair access and and upstairs room. One has a sauna, one a woodburner and another has it’s own gypsy caravan.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at weddings and can stay (in their own beds, not on furniture or beds) in The Hideaway and The Hayloft.

Extra sensuous indulgences can be experienced with therapies in your rooms, Jacuzzi hot tub and walled gardens. And then there is the food - ‘modern romantic country’ menus, sourced locally and cooked to perfection for a feast as indulgent on the tastebuds as the sublime location is on the eyes.

Stage a civil ceremony in any of the fabulous and fully-licensed spaces, from an outdoor wedding in The Wed Shed, to the intimacy of a winter wedding in The Shack in front of a roaring log fire or if you have more guests you may choose The Lounge with open fire.
