Trebarwith Strand Beach
Trebarwith Strand is an archetypal north coast beach; wild and untamed, its a mile-long stretch of golden sand and rocky outcrops only revealed at low tide.
Located just over two miles south-west of the historical village of Tintagel, this dog-friendly beach at the base of imposing weather-beaten cliffs, welcomes walkers, wildlife watchers and explorers to enjoy the sea breeze year-round. With Gull Rock just off the coast being a sanctuary for sea birds, an abundance of biodiversity in its rock pools and far-reaching coastal views from the coastal path, this peaceful bay is one for nature lovers and visitors looking to avoid the crowds. Swimming is only recommended when there are lifeguards on watch due to dangerous currents.
