Trevaylor Campsite: A Gateway to Cornwall's Heritage and Natural Wonders
Although there are many campsites in Cornwall, Trevaylor is the only one to place you at the heart of Cornwall's mining and cultural heritage, no wonder it was a location for filming Poldark! The iconic Crowns Engine houses sit on the edge of the cliffs nearby, as are walks to Cape Cornwall, Cot Valley and beyond. We are also in the heart of West Penwith’s International Dark Sky Park making this area one of the best places in the world to view the nights sky.
Set in the far west of Cornwall you are guaranteed breathtaking scenery and an aura of peace and tranquillity that is often hard to find nowadays in Cornwall; yet excitement and entertainment can be found nearby for those who seek it. Places of interest and beauty, such as Mousehole, Newlyn, Land's End, St Ives, Lamorna Cove, Cape Cornwall, Porthcurno Beach and the Minack Theatre are all nearby.
The campsite is equipped with:
A modern clean facilities block | 16amp electric hookups | Club Wi-Fi wireless internet (for a fee) | Cool block re-freezing | Coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer | Indoor washing-up sinks
