Welcome to Hendra Holiday Park

An award-winning, five star, family-owned, family-friendly park located just outside of Newquay Hendra Holiday Park is a 5*, family-owned site nestled in the Cornish countryside.

Just outside of Newquay, Hendra has been family owned since 1972 and remains the same today. Hendra has over 50 years’ experience of family holidays and know how to make a holiday memorable.

A multi-award winning, five star destination, for bespoke to Hendra holiday homes as well as touring, camping and caravan holidays. We have the AA Platinum Rating, as well as the 5 star Visit England rating.

Hendra is within easy access of Newquay’s 7 golden sand beaches, amazing local attractions, as well as a range of on-site activities and entertainment.

    Nestled on the edge of Hendra, in an ultra-exclusive area of the park, Chestnut House offers the ultimate luxurious family getaway in an utterly secluded spacious holiday home. Step through mature gardens to the quiet and peaceful Chestnut House, fully equipped with everything you need for you ultimate Cornish getaway.

    Located in an exclusive area of the park, the ultra-wide 14ft, the Meadow lodges are a luxurious way to spend your holiday in Cornwall. Relax on your own private decking, whilst enjoying an alfresco meal. There's also super-fast wi-fi, as well as unlimited swim vouchers in the Oasis Indoor Fun Pools - one of the largest fun pools in the southwest. There is a bespoke welcome pack, king-sized bed, Smart TV, which is 50 inches, a shaker kitchen, and open-plan living space. The Lodge is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy on your holiday in Cornwall.

At Hendra we have recently refurbished Terrace Bar and Restaurant, Always Sundae ice cream shop, and pop-up street food stalls throughout the season.

“We have been coming to Hendra for years and have always loved the whole place. On this occasion we had an almost new caravan, which was exceptionally nice and very comfortable. From our point of view, we like our holidays to be relaxing and peaceful and also to stay in comfortable clean accommodation. We feel at home at Hendra and have been coming with different members of our family for years. We all love the place and its proximity to all the special places we love to visit. Staying in the almost new accommodation at a relatively late and quiet time of year was just the perfect getaway we needed. All staff that we met were very pleasant and gives the feel of a one big happy family park.”

There's plenty to do too, with play parks, indoor play, nightly entertainment, daily activities, exciting seasonal events, our hippo mascots, Palm Beach Adventure Golf and land train that goes around the park each day. Also our awesome Oasis Fun Pools. Come and try the new Ninja Assault course too!

Play all day on your Hendra Holiday!

Our Oasis Fun Pools on site is one of the largest indoor fun pools in the south west. There are 3 waterslides, river rapids, toddler pool and giant tap with a waterfall. The outdoor pool is open from the end of May until the end of August with sun loungers - perfect for chilled-out days.

Hendra has a pirate play ship, a skate and scooter park, indoor amusements, and indoor soft play at Henry’s Playloft. Small ones will love getting to meet Henry or Henrietta, the resident hippos. Every evening there’s entertainment at The Venue for the whole family! The little ones can enjoy hippo fun, activities, and party dances in the early evening, followed by bingo, games, and Star Acts late at night for the grown-ups. There are a range of acts each week including comedy, live music, shows, illusionists and karaoke. Couples and those who like things a bit more relaxed, will enjoy the more laid-back, acoustic entertainment on at the outdoor Deck Bar during the summer months. Or perhaps a drink in the Terrace Bar & Restaurant right beside the pool.
