Just outside of Newquay, Hendra has been family owned since 1972 and remains the same today. Hendra has over 50 years’ experience of family holidays and know how to make a holiday memorable.

A multi-award winning, five star destination, for bespoke to Hendra holiday homes as well as touring, camping and caravan holidays. We have the AA Platinum Rating, as well as the 5 star Visit England rating.

At Hendra we have our, Cornwall Tourism award-winning, Terrace Bar and Restaurant, Always Sundae ice cream shop, fish and chip takeaway, and pop-up street food stalls throughout the season. Coming soon for May 2025 is the stylish Beach House, serving elegant drinks and hand-crafted pizzas, as well as our refurbished live music bar, with festival vibes, The Deck Bar.

“We have been coming to Hendra for years and have always loved the whole place. On this occasion we had an almost new caravan, which was exceptionally nice and very comfortable. From our point of view, we like our holidays to be relaxing and peaceful and also to stay in comfortable clean accommodation. We feel at home at Hendra and have been coming with different members of our family for years. We all love the place and its proximity to all the special places we love to visit. Staying in the almost new accommodation at a relatively late and quiet time of year was just the perfect getaway we needed. All staff that we met were very pleasant and gives the feel of a one big happy family park.”
