Daymer Bay Beach
Address
Daymer Bay Beach Rock Cornwall PL27 6LA
A stunning beach that at low tide forms long stretches of golden sand backed by dunes all the way around to Rock, with superb views across the Camel Estuary.
A sheltered bay within the Camel Estuary, its clear waters make it a haven for swimming and paddling, but also for kitesurfing, being an ideal spot for beginners.
For far-reaching views climb Brea Hill at the end of the beach or walk to the charming St Enodoc Church, a picture-perfect chapel with Saxon heritage that sits amongst the sand dunes, and the resting place of former poet laureate Sir John Betjeman.
