Eastern Green
Eastern Green, the closest to the historic port town of Penzance, is a lovely local beach and a long stretch of sand and shingle bordering Mount Bay.
A clean and sheltered haven, the shore’s gently sloping shelf gives way to a large area of shallow waters, perfect for keen paddlers or young explorers.
Dogs are allowed on Eastern Green beach all year round, but there are summer dog bans on Longrock Beach.
Because of the close proximity of the railway line, the beach is best accessed from the South West Coast Path.
